None other. Just Jesus.

If we could really understand the extent of this, the reality of this, we could stop grieving God and finally succeed. If we truly and deeply understood that it was all Jesus.

Restoration does not come through self help.

Deliverance does not come through counseling.

Health does not come through earthly medicine.

Protection does not come through military might.

Success does not come through our own talents.

Prosperity does not come through some politician.

Happiness does not come through getting what we want.

The list goes on and on. Everything (whatever you fill in the blank) comes from Jesus through Jesus for Jesus. He had all power in heaven and Earth given to him, ALL. No one therefore exercises power unless Jesus authorized it.

Do you really believe that? Then you must believe that every politician, every elected official, is placed by Jesus. Every one, not just your favorite! The ones you despise also. It means that modern medicine is not the answer, but a tool. It means that man’s wisdom for success is not the answer, that the book on the shelf you read 4 times is not the answer. It’s all Jesus! He is orchestrating our lives and situations.

That’s why we pray for today’s bread, because we live in today and trust Him for tomorrow. That’s why we pray to be led, to be forgiven, for His kingdom to come… Because it is ALL His kingdom anyway!

Stress comes when we feel out of control, unable to handle things. But wait… That’s actually true! The world’s answer is to convince us that we CAN handle things. God’s way is to recognize that we can’t and don’t have to, give it all to Him instead! Peace does not come through the lie that we are capable, no! Peace comes from a realization the He is in control. Fully, today, now.

Find peace, success, contentment by realizing that it’s all Jesus, and put Him in control of your life. Wake each morning and tell Him that He has this day, you will follow his lead, be content with whatever He gives, trust Him for everything. Then relax! He does have all power and glory forever.
